Its real. J Kidd is the new coach of the Brooklyn Nets. WOW, talk about rolling the dice. But you know what they say. Big risk, big reward. Now lets really look at it. JKidd is on of the best point guards of all time. Point guards like him usually make great coaches. Look at Maurice Cheeks, Scott Skyles, Avery Johnson (sorry Avery). These guys took their general mentality on the court and took it to the bench. Kidd should be able to do the same. He’s only 40 so he can actually get out there with his players if need be. Bill Russell was a player coach for the Celtics and won a few championships back in the day. Maybe this is an old school move in a new era. Good luck JKidd, bring the trophy to Atlantic Ave.

I say give him one year. If he is good, keep him and if not move on to the next.
